Network3 is a Web3 infrastructure platform helping creators and businesses accept crypto payments. As usage grew, users needed clear, real-time insights into their on-chain activity.
Overview
Designing a dashboard that simplifies Web3 complexity
To meet this need, I designed a dashboard that shows key metrics at a glance while allowing deeper exploration when needed. The modular design prioritizes clarity and hierarchy, helping users track earnings and referrals, monitor progress, and manage their crypto operations with confidence.
Next, I'll share a brief overview of how Network3 works and how users earn tokens on Network3, providing context for the design decisions that shaped this dashboard.
Network3 lets users earn crypto by sharing unused bandwidth with VPN apps.
Connections: Users earn tokens by sharing bandwidth via desktop, VPN, and on-chain devices.
Referrals: Earn 100 tokens per referral plus 10% of their connection earnings.
Impact
Driving Growth and User Engagement
By making token earnings and referrals clear and actionable, the dashboard empowered users to track their crypto progress confidently. Within six months of launch, we tripled the user base, and within three months, achieved a 16.2% daily active user rate, demonstrating strong engagement and the dashboard’s impact in driving user growth.
The platform has received $5.5 million in investment and currently has 206,415 active nodes, reflecting its growing presence in the decentralized ecosystem.

I designed the Data Visualization page to give users a clear, real-time view of their token earnings across connections and referrals. By surfacing key metrics and trends in an intuitive layout, users can confidently track earnings, find opportunities to earn more, and build consistent habits within Network3.

Users were highly motivated to refer others, so I placed the referral link in a prominent spot on the dashboard for quick, convenient sharing.
I also added a community section on the homepage to help users join and connect easily. To provide timely feedback, the system notifies users as soon as a referral registers.
